‘All I Can Hear—I, Me, Mine; I, Me, Mine; I, Me, Mine…’
The Wellspring of Giving and Taking—Heaven’s Vault, Susurria (Ministry of Equanimity)
In life, neutrality is a fallacy.
There exist in all moments merely two opposing yet necessary paradigms—two inuring qualities—two wolves to feed.
These are simply the paths of service to the other, of giving, and service to the self—of taking.
Here in the wellspring of giving and taking, we have a choice to make. To make that choice, we first need to check on ourselves: what do we need, just now? What is of note in our lives, and can we find a way to allow ourselves be aware of it? Can we offer ourselves absolution and forgiveness, and can we allow ourselves access to what we need energetically and psychically, not just what we think we want?
Fortunately for us, the wellspring is infinite. Take as you need, and refresh yourself in body and heart.
Amazing how nice and how positive people get when they feel accepted, nurtured, and in balance.
“I thought that my voyage had come to its end
at the last limit of my power
—that the path before me was closed,
that provisions were exhausted
and the time come to take shelter in a silent obscurity.
But I find that thy will knows no end in me.
And when old words die out on the tongue,
New melodies break forth from the heart;
and where the old tracks are lost,
new country is revealed with its wonders.”
“Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding.”
